How to Add a User to Docyt
Users can add N numbers of employees using the "Business Employees" option for a business.
To configure user access for employees, follow these steps:
- Click on 'Settings' from the main header menu.
- Choose 'Business Employees' from the left navigation menu.
- Click on the employee's name.
- Select the options from the Role drop-down menu. The role can be of Business Admin or Employee.
- By default, the User Management field is automatically set to 'Active' for the Business Admin Role. If the Role is 'Employee,' then the User Management field can be adjusted to 'Active' or 'Not Active.' When the User Management is set to 'Not Active', the 'Settings' menu will not be visible, and the user will not be able to manage user permissions. On the other hand, if the 'User Management' menu is set to 'Active', the user will have access to the Settings menu to configure permissions as needed for other employees.
6. Use the drop-down menus for each module to allocate access to each user.
7. A user can also be invited as a 'Business Admin' through the same process. However, when a user is invited to Docyt as a 'Business Admin,' and he gets to accept the invitation after 24 hours, he receives the error 'Invitation has expired. Request another invitation.
