Utilizing Advanced Business Reports Filters on Android
This article will guide you using the date filters available: Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, and Custom on Advanced Reports on the Android app.
Date Filters:
When you select a business report, you can access the date filters by tapping the date range selector icon on the top left of your screen. Here are the filter options:
-
Daily: If your selected business report has a column for Day-to-Day (MTD) values, you will see a "Daily" filter option. By default, the filter is set to the current day. The date format will be 'dd mm yy' (for example, '16 Jan 22').
-
Monthly: This is the default filter for all reports unless a daily filter exists for the report. Every time you revisit a report, it will default back to the monthly filter.
-
Quarterly and Yearly: When switching to these filters, the current quarter or year will be selected by default.
-
Custom: This filter allows you to select a custom month range.
Using the Daily Filter:
- Select a business report with an MTD column.
- Tap on the date selector to see the filter dropdown menu.
- Select "Daily" from the dropdown menu. The current day's date will be set by default.
- To change the date, use the calendar widget. The business report will update to show only records from the selected day.
- Tap 'Apply' to update the report or 'Cancel' to return to the previous date.
The left and right arrows allow you to navigate through the days. The right arrow will be grayed out if the current date is the day of usage.
Using Custom Range:
- Select 'Custom' from the filter dropdown menu. By default, the 'From' month selector will be set to the current month.
- After selecting a month in the 'From' field, you will automatically be taken to the 'To' field, with the current month selected as the 'To' field.
- The 'Apply' button will activate when you move to the 'To' field.
- You will return to the previously filtered report if you choose Cancel'. The next time you select 'Custom', all options will reset to their defaults.
Note: The monthly filter is always the default selection when re-opening a report, regardless of the previous filter. The custom filter does not save past selections.
