      Hospitality Utilities Management Report (Schedule 9)

      Accessing the Report

      1. Log in to your Docyt account.
      2. From the top navigation menu, select 'Business Reports' from the drop-down menu. In the subsequent menu, choose 'Departmental Reports'.
      3. On the Departmental Reports page, locate and click the 'Utilities' option to access the report.
      4. Customize the report parameters by selecting the desired period and column views.

      5. Generate the report and review the detailed results to gain valuable insights into revenue performance and financial accuracy.

      Limited Access: This report is exclusively available for select Docyt Plans. If you don't have access, please contact support@docyt.com for help.

      Report Customization

      1. Use the dropdown menu in departmental reports to add new columns based on the selections.

      2. Click 'Customize' to add new columns to the report, namely Percentage Column, Last Year, Per Available Room (PAR), Per Occupied Room (POR), and Budgets Comparison. 

      3. You can also customize the report columns for multiple months.

      4. The table below provides the formula for calculating PAR $ (Per Available Room) and POR $ (Per Occupied Room) for both the Period to Date and Year to Date, respectively. This information can be found in row 3 of the below table.

      5. You can also customize the columns in the report at the first level of data drill-down using the dropdown menu. This allows you to personalize the report further and tailor it to your needs.


      To export your report to Excel or PDF format

      1. Generate and review the desired report in Docyt.
      2. To export your report to Excel or PDF format, go to the top right corner of the report page and find the three-dots menu icon (...). Click on the three dots to reveal the menu options, and from there, select 'Export as Excel' or 'Export as PDF'.
      3. A notification will appear, indicating that the report can be downloaded from the 'Data Export' section of Docyt.
      4. To download the report, navigate to the 'Data Export' section by clicking the 'Data Export' link in the notification. Click the ellipsis menu on the 'Data Export' page and select the 'Download' option.

      Docyt's Hospitality Departmental Report Schedule 9 - Utilities provides valuable insights into utilities usage and management in the hospitality industry. Here are the key components included in the report:

      • Electricity Expenses: 

        The account for electricity expenses includes purchasing electricity from external producers. This cost encompasses taxes/assessments and any fees or allocations related to bulk or future purchases.

      • Gas Expenses:

        The account for gas expenses includes purchasing gas from external producers. This cost encompasses taxes/assessments and any fees or allocations related to bulk or future purchases.

      • Oil Expenses: 

        The account for oil expenses includes the cost of purchasing oil from external producers. This cost encompasses taxes/assessments and any fees or allocations related to bulk or future purchases.

      • Water/Sewer Expenses: 

        Water and sewer expenses are recorded in this account, which includes taxes/assessments and costs associated with water treatment and filtration.

      • Steam Expenses: 

        The account for steam expenses includes the cost of purchasing steam from external producers. This cost encompasses taxes/assessments and any fees or allocations related to bulk or future purchases.

      • Chilled Water Expenses: 

        The account for chilled water expenses includes purchasing chilled water and additives from external sources. This cost includes taxes/assessments and any fees or allocations related to bulk or future purchases.

      • Other Fuels: 

        This account includes the cost of purchasing other fuels, such as propane, kerosene, diesel, geothermal energy, solar energy, and wind energy, from external producers. It covers taxes/assessments and any fees or allocations related to bulk or future purchases.

      • Contract Services: 

        This account encompasses services provided by firms that specialize in conducting energy audits, water reclamation, using infrared detection to monitor energy consumption, and other services to reduce energy usage.
