Accessing the Report

  1. To access the report, you must log in to your Docyt account.
  2. From the top navigation menu, select 'Business Reports' from the drop-down menu.
  3. In the subsequent menu, choose 'Departmental Reports'.
  4. On the 'Departmental Reports' page, locate and click the 'Schedule 12 - House Laundry' option to access the report.
  5. You can personalize the report settings to suit your specific needs and preferences.

  6. Generate the report and review the detailed results to gain valuable insights.

Report Customization

Use the dropdown menu in business reports to filter based on the following selections:

  • Percentage Column
  • Last Year
  • Per Available Room (PAR)
  • Per Occupied Room (POR)
  • Budget


To export your report to Excel or PDF format

  1. Generate and review the desired report in Docyt.
  2. On the top right corner of the report page, locate the three-dot menu icon (...).
  3. Click on the three dots to open the menu options.
  4. Select 'Export as Excel' or 'Export as PDF' from the menu.
  5. A notification bar, as depicted below, will appear on the screen.
  6. To download the report, navigate to the 'Data Export' section by clicking the 'Data Export' link in the notification. Click the ellipsis menu on the 'Data Export' page and select the 'Download' option.

Components and Sections of the Report

This report focuses on the following key components:

  • Expenses: Analyze labor costs, related fees, and other miscellaneous expenses associated with house laundry operations.

  • Credits: Evaluate the cost of guest, outside laundry, and concessionaires' laundry.

  • Allocations: Understand the allocation of house laundry costs to different departments within your establishment.

The report consists of the following sections:

  • Expenses: Detailed breakdown of labor costs and related expenses, as well as other expenditures, including cleaning supplies, equipment rental, laundry and dry cleaning, training, and more.

  • Credits: Analysis of the cost of guest and outside laundry and concessionaires' laundry.

  • Allocations: Examination of the allocation of house laundry costs to various departments, such as rooms, food and beverage, and other specific departments.

  • Net Recovery: Calculation of the net recovery from house laundry operations.
