Category Edit Restriction with Period Feature for Accrued Prepaid Receipts
When the period feature is used for Accrue Expenses for Prepaid Receipts, and the invoice is verified/Ready to pay or Approved, Docyt won’t allow the user to edit the categories again. It will give users an error (“Category edit is not allowed when the period feature is used.”) as shown in the visual below.
a) Error- If the invoice has already been verified
b) Error- If the invoice is already ready to pay
c) Error- If the invoice has already been approved
Users also won't be allowed to edit the categories from the three places in Docyt, as shown in the visuals below:
1) Clicking 'Edit' in the Chart of Accounts field present in the table
2) Clicking 'Edit Invoice' from Invoice Actions
3) Clicking 'Edit/'N' Splits' in the Category field present in the data section
