How to Use Chat in Central in Docyt
A unified communication channel for all businesses, this platform enhances collaboration by enabling business users and the accounting team to easily interact, share updates, exchange documents, and address issues in one unified space.
This streamlined approach not only improves efficiency and clarity but also saves time by eliminating the need to navigate between different business systems.

A. Send a Chat
- Open Docyt and log in with your credentials.
- Click on the chat icon located on the transaction, invoice, receipt, or document that you want to send a message on.
- Click on the 'Business Chats' icon to access a consolidated view of all your chats.
- To respond or ask a question, type your message in the comment box and mention the name of the user you wish to address with '@' sign.
5. Changes could be made if any editing is required in the message by clicking on the written message and selecting three dots.
B. Upload Document
Transaction chat is used for checking the messages received . It is also used for uploading any kind of document or for adding any document.
There are 2 ways to upload the document :
1. Users can upload documents directly through the chat box.2. Upload the document by either selecting it from your files or by dragging and dropping it directly into the invoice window.
C. Transaction Chats
Users can participate in chat discussions focused on transactions, including topics like invoice verification and related queries to specific document or transaction.
D. Notifications
All the notification related to all businesses will be visible under same head.
