How to Reset & Set Up Payment Methods in Docyt

This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of resetting Docyt Check & ACH, activating Docyt Check & ACH payments, and verifying your bank account information manually.

Resetting Docyt Check

1. Log into Docyt: Visit the Docyt website and enter your login credentials to access your account.

2. Access Accounting Tab: Once logged in, navigate to the home page and locate the accounting tab in the center. Click on it to proceed.

3. Select Your Business: Within the accounting tab, select your business from the available options.

4. Access Business Settings: Click on the "Settings" option, located in the top ribbon. Then, choose "Business Settings" from the dropdown menu.

5. Navigate to Payment Methods: In the left sidebar of the Business Settings page, click on "Payment Methods."
   
   

6. Reset Docyt Check: Look for the option labeled "Docyt Check" and click on it. At the top right corner of the page, select "Reset Docyt Check" in blue.
   
   

Note: Resetting Docyt Check will require a reset of the Bank Account information associated with it.

Resetting ACH

1. Log into Docyt: Visit the Docyt website and enter your login credentials to access your account.

Setting Up Docyt Check

1. Return to Payment Methods Page: Once the Docyt Check/ACH has been reset, go back to the Payment Methods page using the left sidebar.

2. Reuse Signatures: Select the option for "Authorised Signatory" and choose to reuse signatures if applicable.

3. Setup Payment Methods: From the left sidebar, click on "Setup Payment Methods."

4. Activate Docyt Check: Locate "Docyt Check" in the list and click on "Activate" next to it. Follow the subsequent prompts and provide the necessary information. Then, click "Next" to proceed.

5. Verify Checking Account: Select the "Checking Account" option and choose to verify manually.

6. Provide Bank Account Details: A pop-up window will appear on the right side. Enter your full account number and routing number in the designated fields. Click "Send Micro Deposits" to initiate the verification process.

7. Proceed to the Next Step: After verifying the account information, click "Next" to continue.

8. Specify Docyt Check Series: Provide the desired Docyt Check series.

9. Confirm and Finish: Review the information provided and click "Done" to complete the setup.
   
   It's important to note that it may take up to one business day for the micro deposits to reflect in your account.

Activating ACH Payments through the Docyt App

1. Return to Payment Methods Page: Go back to the Payment Methods page using the left sidebar.

2. Activate ACH Payments: Look for the option to activate ACH payments and click on it.

3. Follow the Step-by-Step Process: Follow the subsequent prompts and provide the necessary information. Ensure that the information matches the legal business documents, such as the EIN Letter.

4. Certify the Information: Once all the required details are entered, click on the "Certify" button in the orange bar.

5. Wait for Verification: Allow 2-3 minutes for the information to be verified and refresh.

6. Connect and Verify Bank Account: After the verification process is complete, click on "Connect" and select your bank account. Choose to verify the account manually.

7. Provide Bank Account Details: In the right pop-up window, enter your full account number and routing number. Click "Send Micro Deposits" to initiate the verification process.

Activating ACH Payments through the Email sent by Docyt for the recent micro-deposit amount:

1. Docyt will email to verify the recent microdeposits amount made by Docyt. Click on"Continue to Verify."

2. Click “Verify” to verify each micro-deposit and click “Save and Submit“. Now, the ACH will be activated.

3. You will see a success banner that says the Deposits Verification is done successfully.
