How to Access Cash Based Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Reports

Cash-based reporting is a financial reporting method aligned with cash-based accounting, where financial transactions are reported only when cash is received or paid. This reporting provides a real-time reflection of cash flow and liquidity, making it especially useful for businesses or organizations focused on cash management.

Steps to access the reports :

  1. To access your Docyt account, log in using your credentials.
  2. Go to the main menu and click on 'Business Reports'. Then, select the option for 'Business Reports' and choose the 'Cash Basis' option. 

  3. Once you access the Business Reports section, you can choose between viewing 'Profit & Loss' statements or the 'Balance Sheet'.

  4. You can access the detailed balance sheet by choosing 'Balance Sheet' in the image above.

  5. Clicking on 'Profit and Loss' in the figure at point 3 will give you access to the detailed 'Profit & Loss' statement.

  6. You also have the option to export the reports in Excel format. Click on the ellipsis icon and select the Export as Excel from the available options.

7.   A pop window will appear to with option of 'Data Export'.

8.  Report is ready for download in the Data Export section.
