Introduction to Flagged Transactions
In Docyt, flagged transactions are indicated by an orange question mark icon . Resolving these transactions only requires a few minutes of your time and is essential for maintaining the accuracy of your financial records.
Here's what you should keep in mind regarding flagged transactions in Docyt:
- Flagged transactions may need additional information or supporting documents.
- They serve as notifications for you to review and carefully address any concerns your account manager highlights.
- Some common types of transactions that may be flagged include expenses, income, bank transfers, payroll charges, loans, and transactions involving equity, liability, or assets. These transactions require additional information to be correctly categorized.
To access flagged transactions, click 'Open Items' in the menu. This will allow you to look over and address flagged transactions that require your attention.
Note— In the business employee setting, if the flag transactions user permission is set to "None," employees will not see the Open Items option on the Docyt main dashboard.
